How Bizzare...

My mother works in the National Association of Teachers of Travellers.. NATT or Trav-Ed for short. That basically means that she helps get gypsy and traveller children into educations. She co-coordinates the whole of the county, and Essex is the busiest area in the UK for travellers.
Anyhow.. this ends up in the fact that my mother was quoted in the House Of Lords today! She wrote a report of the government on traveller and social exclusion issues. A lot of what that Lord quotes in that link above is directly my mum's words!
